Destroyer is a concentrated blend of cleaning agents formulated to professionally clean carpet. It dissolves and neutralizes urine salts so that they can be removed easily. Destroyer will actually dissolve & encapsulate the salts causing urine odors - effectively removing the smell that entices your pet to return and "re-mark" the spot!

Destroyer is a mild acid that can be applied as a pre-treatment to areas that have been soiled by urine. It should be followed with normal extraction cleaning ( using a carpet shampooer like a Bissell or Rug Doctor) with a detergent like ChemGirl's HAPPY CARPET.
Destroyer contains a corrosion inhibitor for added protection of the equipment and surfaces, and can also be used in other cleaning applications where urine salts need to be dissolved, such as in bathrooms.

Directions: FOR NEW URINE SPOTS: Remove excess liquid first, and then dilute 1 oz DESTROYER to 3 oz of HOT water. Spray thoroughly on stain, being sure to saturate stain area. On extra thick carpet, pour 1/2 cup hot water to get product to carpet pad. Allow to stand for 10-15 minutes for product to work. DO NOT LET DRY. Use an extraction machine (like a Bissell or Rug Doctor) to extract all liquid possible out of the carpet. Let dry (up to 24 hours), and then vacuum. FOR SET-IN AND STUBBORN URINE SPOTS: Dilute DESTROYER 1 oz to 2 oz. HOT water. Spray on stain, applying enough to saturate carpet and reach pad. Pour 1/2 cup hot water to help product spread into pad. Let stand for 15-20 minutes. DO NOT LET DRY. Use an extraction machine (like a Bissell or Rug Doctor) with HOT Water to rinse. If necessary, repeat with suction only to extract as much liquid as possible back out of the carpet. For an extra shield, follow with GONE FOR GOOD Enzyme Cleaner. Thoroughly spray the same area, and let stand for an additional 15 minutes to allow enzymes to work. Blot with a dry towel applied with ample force to pick up as much liquid as possible, until the carpet is damp and not wet. Allow carpet to dry, and then vacuum. FOR LARGE AREAS OR WHOLE ROOMS WITH MULTIPLE STAINS: Mix 1 quart of DESTROYER with 3 quarts of HOT water in 1 gallon sprayer. Spray ENTIRE area as a Pre-Treat, being sure to soak carpet and reach pad. Allow 20-30 minutes for product to work, but DO NOT ALLOW IT TO DRY. Using a carpet extraction machine (like a Rug Doctor), mix 3 oz HAPPY CARPET to 1 gallon HOT water. For dirtier carpet, use up to 6 oz per 1 gallon. With extraction machine, clean entire area at a steady pace, being sure to cover all the areas treated with DESTROYER. Go back over any areas with suction only until carpet is damp (and not wet). Allow to dry completely and vacuum. THIS PRODUCT WORKS BY DISSOLVING AND ENCAPSULATING URINE SALTS. IT MUST BE EXTRACTED TO BE EFFECTIVE.

IF skin irritation occurs, get medical advice / attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice / attention.
