Surface Preparation: If necessary, floor should be stripped free of old wax or finish. Scrub floor thoroughly with a good detergent or neutral cleaner such as Detco’s Kwik Mop. Rinse well with clear water and allow to dry thoroughly. Application Procedure: Apply a thin, even coat of finish with a rayon mop or microfiber applicator. Allow at least 30 minutes of dry time. 2 to 3 coats are recommended for optimum performance. No buffing is required, but if the floor is to be buffed, wait at least 48 hours. Typical coverage is 1,200 - 1,500 sq. ft. per gallon. Application rate will vary depending on surface and application method. Coverage can be increased to 1,500 - 2,000 sq. ft. when combined with Detco’s Undercoat floor sealer. Maintenance: Sweep or damp mop every day to remove surface dirt. When damp mopping, use a neutral cleaner such as Detco’s Kwik Mop. Note: Never use ammoniated cleaners for daily maintenance
